The Shared Value Africa Initiative is the Africa chapter of the global Shared Value Initiative which is a gathering of global business leaders who aim to find business opportunities in addressing societal challenges. The theme for the 2019 Summit is Africa’s Business Growth – Grounded in Collaboration. The Summit will focus on regional sustainable economic growth and the role of business in line with the African Union’s Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals. Prof. Mark Kramer from Harvard Business School, the co-author of the Shared Value Principle will give the keynote address and will be in attendance.
The conference presents an opportunity for sustainability and development practitioners to gain insights and share experience on enhancing inclusive and sustainable business.
